Our   History
The first Watch Fob Collector's meeting was held on April 4, 1965 at the American Legion Hall in Norwalk, Ohio. There were 33 members present. Temporary officers were elected October 28, 1967 to serve until until the spring meeting in 1968.

The first IWFA meeting and show was held on March 30 and 31, 1968 at the American Legion hall in Norwalk, Ohio. There has been an annual show and meeting each year since at various locations in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Here members bring displays for show. They also increase their collections by trading with other members.

Dealer's Code of Ethics


As a registered dealer with the International Watch Fob Association, and/or, the Canadian Association of Watch Fob Collectors, and/or, The Midwest Watch Fob Collectors Inc., I approve and adhere to the following Dealer Code Of Ethics.
  1. I will not knowingly sell, trade, or distribute, a reproduction, a re-strike, or a fake watch fob, or fobs, without identifying the item, or items, as a reproduction, or re-strike, or a fake fob, to the prospective owner.

  2. In the event of unknowingly, or unintentionally, selling, trading, or distributing a reproduction, re-strike, or fake fob, I will accept the return of the item, or items, and refund all cost to the buyer, or return a traded item, or items, to the owner.

  3. In the event of a dispute, as to the authenticity of the fob or fobs, I agree to submit the item, or items to a panel of experts, as appointed by the officers of the I.W.F.A., for a binding ruling as to the authenticity of the fob or fobs.

  4. As a dealer, I accept the mail costs, both to and from the buyer, and to and from the I.W.F.A. panel. Should the fob be found to be not a reproduction the cost of all mailing will then be the responsibility of the buyer.

  5. As a dealer, I will respect the right of a buyer to submit a fob, or fobs, to the I.W.F.A. panel for authentication.

  6. In return for accepting the Code Of Ethics, I will be registered with the clubs, as mentioned in item 1, and will be allowed to use the following notation on all correspondence, both conventional and electronic.
    "I am an approved user of the I.W.F.A. Dealer Code of Ethics."
